Gary B. Krick, P.S.M. - President / Project Manager - Email Gary
Mr. Krick serves as Project Manager for a number of Continuing Surveying and Mapping Services Contracts that have involved all aspects of surveying and field application to include Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Construction Layout, Control Surveys, Hydrographic Surveys, Mean High Water Line Surveys, Quantity Surveys, Land Platting and Special Purpose Surveys or Miscellaneous Services, and most importantly the successful completion of numerous of these type of task assignments. Mr. Krick has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 1973 and has served as President since 1996. Mr. Krick attended Valencia Community College, Trimble GPS Surveying Training Center, San Jose, CA and attends yearly continuing education seminars for licensing requirements.
James L. Petersen, P.S.M. - Vice President / Project Manager - Email Jim
Mr. Petersen serves as Project Manager for a number of Continuing Surveying and Mapping Services Contracts that have involved all aspects surveying and field application to include Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Construction Layout, Control Surveys, Hydrographic Surveys, Mean High Water Line Surveys, Quantity Surveys, Land Platting and Special Purpose Surveys or Miscellaneous Services, and most importantly the successful completion of numerous of these type of task assignments. Mr. Petersen has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 1981 and has served as Vice President for since 1985. Mr. Petersen is a graduate of Seminole High School, attended Seminole Community College and attends yearly continuing education seminars for licensing requirements.
Brian R. Garvey, P.E. - GIS Division Manager - Email Brian
Mr. Garvey serves as the Geographic Information System (GIS) Division Manager and is responsible for the development and hands on management of the GIS Division. Brian has 15 plus years working with County/Municipal Mapping Systems and has 11 plus years previous experience as the President of Engineering and Land Systems, Inc. assisting in the development of Government/Municipal Geographic Information Systems. Mr. Garvey's services also include digitizing of record drawings, database conversions and data translations, custom menu and software development, instructional training, and CAD & GIS technical support for consulting firms. Mr. Garvey's Professional experience began in 1983, has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 2000 and has served as GIS Division Manager from start date. Mr. Garvey is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, Master of Science, Computer Engineering, and the Georgia Institute of Technology, Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
James M. Dunn, II, P.S.M. - Project Manager - Email Jim
Mr. Dunn serves as Project Manager for various Continuing Surveying & Mapping Contracts and has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 2000. Mr. Dunn's responsibilities include research, reconnaissance, coordination and quality assurance for a variety of projects. Mr. Dunn's Surveying & Mapping experience began in 1970 and it includes all aspects of surveying and field application, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Hydrographic Surveys, Mean High Water Line Surveys, Quantity Surveys, Land Platting and Special Purpose or Miscellaneous Services, Easement Drawings, Survey Support for Aerial Photography and Mapping Projects Right-of-Way Mapping, Legal Description preparation, Easement Delineation, and Survey Boundary Calculations. Mr. Dunn attended Valencia Community College, and attends yearly continuing education seminars for licensing requirements.
Timothy O. Mosby, P.S.M. - Project Manager - Email Tim
Mr. Mosby serves as Project Manager for various Continuing Surveying & Mapping Contracts and has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 2004. Mr. Mosby's responsibilities include research, reconnaissance, coordination and scheduling for a variety of projects. Mr. Mosby's Surveying & Mapping experience began in 1972 and it includes all aspects of surveying and field application, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Construction Layout, Control Surveys, Tree Surveys, Plat Reviews, Legal Descriptions, Subsurface Utility Designation and Location, using Conventional Methods and Ground Penetrating Radar. Mr. Mosby has previous experience with the firms of Rockett & Associates, American Surveying and Mapping, and Boyle Engineering prior to being employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation for the past 4 years. Mr. Mosby attended the University of South Florida, graduated from Regents College, Albany, NY and attends yearly continuing education seminars for licensing requirements
William C. Rowe, P.S.M. - CAD / Project Manager - Email Bill
Mr. Rowe serves as CAD / Project Manager for various Continuing Surveying & Mapping Contracts and has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 1998. Mr. Rowe's responsibilities include calculations, research, and preparation and supervision of Surveying & Mapping projects including public and private sector projects. Mr. Rowe insures that all data is delivered in a format that is compatible with project specific databases. Mr. Rowe's Surveying & Mapping experience began in 1986 and it includes all aspects of surveying and field application, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Construction Layout, Control Surveys, Tree Surveys, Plat Reviews Legal Descriptions, Subsurface Utility Designation and Location, using Conventional Methods and Ground Penetrating Radar. Mr. Rowe has previous experience with the firms of Keith and Schnars and Deni Associates prior to being employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation. Mr. Rowe graduated from the University of Florida, Bachelor of Science Surveying & Mapping and attends yearly continuing education seminars for licensing requirements.
Myron (Mike) F. Lucas, P.S.M. - Senior Survey Technician - Email Mike
Mr. Lucas is responsible for post processing electronic field book data and manipulation using CAiCE software. Mr. Lucas reviews and prepares all field survey data for mapping by CAD technicians and assists Project Managers in project research, computations and preparation for field assignments. Mr. Lucas has previous experience with the firms of Land-Tech Surveying & Mapping Corp. and Grusenmeyer & Associates, 10 years previous experience with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping (1980-1990) prior to being employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping since 1997. Mr. Lucas is a graduate of Orlando Vocational & Technical School, attended Valencia Community College and attends yearly continuing education seminars for licensing requirements
James E. Mazurak, P.S.M. - Senior CAD Technician - Email James
Mr Mazurak is responsible for right-of-way analysis, production of right-of-way maps, parcel sketch and descriptions, maintenance maps, identification maps, and control surveys for various Counties, and the Florida Department of Transportation. Mr Mazurak is responsible for production of Boundary and Topographic Surveys for the public and private sector. Duties include research of surrounding plats, surveys, and tax maps. His duties also include the processing of raw field data from data collection instruments to drawing files that can be edited by CAD Technicians, the calculation of areas of taking & remainder, and boundary closure and plotting of the survey data from legal descriptions and drawings into CAD and GIS file format. Project will be to assist the Project Surveyor by preparing packages for field teams and providing a robust review of field data (QC/QA) to insure your Project schedules are met. Mr. Mazurak's Surveying & Mapping career began in 1974 and has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping since 2008
David M. Rentfrow, CST IV - Project Manager - Email Dave
Mr. Rentfrow, CST IV serves as Project Manager for various Continuing Surveying & Mapping Contracts. Mr. Rentfrow’s responsibilities include research, reconnaissance, coordination and scheduling for a variety of projects Mr. Rentfrow is experienced in surveying and field application to include Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Construction Layout, Control Surveys, Tree Surveys, and Subsurface Utility Designation and Location, using Conventional Methods and Ground Penetrating Radar. Mr. Rentfrow has been employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation since 1996. Mr. Rentfrow attended Valencia Community College.
Darryll DeMarsh - Utility Division Manager - Email Darryll
Mr. DeMarsh serves as Utility Division Manager for various Continuing Utility Designation & Location Services Contracts. Mr. DeMarsh is responsible for coordinating, estimating, managing and administrating utility projects for design and relocation and is responsible for planning Utility Mapping Projects for conflict verification. Mr. DeMarsh has previous experience with The Spectra Group, Inc., Virginia before being employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation in 1999 and has served as Utility Division Manager since 2000. Mr. DeMarsh is certified in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), certified in Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), graduated from Dutchess Community College, 2 Years Liberal Arts, and attended numerous VDOT Training Seminars and Equipment Training Seminars.
Dawn Knight - Utility Coordinator - Email Dawn
Mrs. Knight has over 18 years of SUE experience which has included hands-on designating, locating and coordinating. Mrs. Knight is responsible for reviewing and researching utilities for conflicts with proposed construction activities that may include, but are not limited to, roadway improvements, signal and/or power pole installations, new buried utility line routes for installation, and coordinating utility relocation activities as needed. Mrs. Knight is also responsible for all necessary utility line locates by organizing, researching, coordination and scheduling the locates with the necessary individuals. This includes the initial contact with Sunshine State One-Call of Florida and any other non member utility owners to have all underground lines marked. Mrs. Knight schedules meetings between field crews and utility owners and/or locators regarding areas of conflict. Mrs. Knight acquires utility maps, maintains records of all correspondence between SSMC and the utility owners and/or their locators. Mrs. Knight maintains a Utility Contact and Address Book keeping all information current.
M. Scott Sowards - Utility Project Manager - Email Scott
Mr. Sowards serves as Utility Project Manager for various Continuing Utility Designation & Location Services Contracts. Mr. Sowards is responsible for coordinating, estimating, managing and administrating utility projects for design and relocation and is responsible for planning Utility Mapping Projects for conflict verification. Coordinating with clients as well as utility owners to assure Quality Control/Quality Assurance. Mr. Sowards has previous experience with Central Locating Service, Florida, as well as, Byers Locating Service/Utiliquest, Georgia before being employed with Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation and has served as Utility Division Project Manager since 2004. Mr. Sowards is certified in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), certified in Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), graduated from Bourbon County High School and Naval Telecommunications College and has a Telecommunications Degree.
Chris Taylor - Utility Project Manager - Email Chris
Mr. Taylor has over 8 years of SUE experience. Mr. Taylor's responsibilities include managing multiple large utility location and designation projects throughout the State of Florida for various clients including local government agencies, utility companies, engineering firms and the FDOT. Mr. Taylor is responsible for the supervision and training of crews to ensure quality, safety, schedule and budget goals. Mr. Taylor has extensive experience using state of the art Electronic Utility Locating Equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar to designate subsurface utilities and structures. Mr. Taylor is also experienced in GPS utilizing Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positions to collect data on existing utilities found and to conduct As-Built Surveys for utilities.
