Founded in 1972 in Central Florida, Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation (SSMC) is an independent, employee owned land surveying company that has grown to a firm serving Florida's leading private and public organizations with offices located in Orlando, Chipley, Madison and Tavares, Florida. SSMC has successfully completed a variety of assignments in international locations to include the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and Nicaragua.
Today, SSMC has a full time staff consisting of computer drafters, survey and mapping technicians and field crews supervised by experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyors. At the forefront of technology, SSMC utilizes state of the art surveying equipment including electronic total stations, robotic total stations, data collectors, automatic levels, high precision digital levels, Ground Penetrating Radar and Global Positioning Satellite systems.
